Meeting Minutes of the Tower Point Homeowners Annual meeting July 25^th, 2014

Dear Folks:

Patti Peel and Carol Wieser brought up issues at the beach of non-homeowners trespassing.  Discussion regarding installation of a sign and/or a chain at the entrance to the beach road resulted in taking a vote.  A vote was passed in favor of Kevin Sheffield making a “No Trespassing” Sign to also include the words “Private Beach, Tower Point” with reflective tape for nighttime.  We will reconvene after 6 months to see how effective the sign is to keep intruders off the beach and discuss other options if necessary. 

Sept 27^th has been designated for a Community Yard Sale to start at 9:00 a.m. and will be posted in the Cecil Whig along with road signs.  Gather up those no longer needed items in your garage, basement and storage closets and put them up for sale!  

Bill Preske volunteered to address the problem of the road washing out in a 22 foot section on the bend of the road and offered to fill in the area.  (Bill and Rich Thompson worked very hard the next day and filled in the entire area of erosion on the road and also did a major debris cleanup of the beach the day after our HOA meeting).   Thanks guys!

Rich Thompson will handle getting estimates/proposals for the cost of patching holes on the road. 

Sandy Candeloro will contact the mosquito control maintenance person to include Bill Karnuks property (since it may have been missed in the previous sprays) and to ask about the cost of having individual driveways done.  We can supply a map (plat layout) of properties that are included in our development if needed. 

An update on the lawsuits was read by Lynne Caldwell.  Another meeting with the Board of Directors will take place in mid-August to address some issues.  If you would like to attend that meeting, please connect with Kris Thompson or Lynne Caldwell. 

Kris Thompson was voted in to replace Lisa Doricchi as Secretary on the Board of Directors. 

Treasurers Report was submitted by Sandy Candeloro for 2013 – 2014 Fiscal year and a new budget proposal was accepted for 2014-2015.

Please get your annual dues of $250.00 in to Sandy Candeloro if you haven’t already.
