Holiday Cookie Swap!

Bake some 🍪cookies🍪, lay them out & create your own cookie tray!  Join your neighbors for a Holiday Cookie Swap at Pat & Lisa's house Monday December 20 at 6pm.  Come with at least 2 dozen cookies & an ingredients list (for dietary restrictions) and a to go container.  Leave with 2 dozen cookies of your choice!  Bring your own beverage🍹 to hang out and chat with your neighbors for a bit, or just do the cookie exchange and leave!

I'm making caramel chocolate chip cookies (fyi so there's no repeat) and I will be wearing a holiday shirt 😉

Toys for Tots Drive

 I will be dropping off some new toys for the Toys for Tots drive (which is projected to struggle this year) in Chesapeake City on Sunday December 5th.  Anyone that would like to donate as well, just send me an email or a text and I'll stop by to pick up on Sunday before I head over to town.  

The donations will be dropped off to Frank Vari, with the CCEA, so they will also be accepting food or used clothing/household item donations.  If you'd like to clear out some clutter, get ready for pickup on December 5th.  Make sure to let me know if you'd like to participate so I can add you to the list of houses to stop at.

Community Food Drive

I emailed the neighborhood to let everyone know that I was dropping off donations for the Thanksgiving Holiday at the local food pantry.  I offered to pick up any donations anyone wanted to drop off.  We collected a trunk full!  My entire trunk was filled and I couldn't see out the back.  Frank Vari was so delighted with our generosity he sent this message: 

"My wife and daughter started to separate food to make boxes to get ready for distribution before Thursday, Thanksgiving, and all that I asked for you delivered.  I don't know how to thank you except all who contributed will be in our prayers.  Please extend my thanks to all.  And a Happy & Blessed Thanksgiving, You are all Angels.  God Bless."
